Hi, why not posting or looking for your hotel for sale on HotelBeam.com. This website has many registered hotel-keepers and good exposure with the hospitality business at all levels (from the smaller hotels to the luxury resorts). Best of all it's still free.Mike

this bed and breakfast idea in Peru would be a great idea, I am sure you will get a lot of business and be bust pretty much all year around. I wish you luck with it, and if I am ever in Peru I will be sure to keep an eye open for it, and definetly stop in.
David, do you have any pictures of the hotel? Or maybe a website?

I suppose Mr. Gallagher isn't interested in selling his hotel to any of us. If anyone else knows of any small hotels for sale in Lima please inform me.

If you are interested in buying an already established hotel with bed and breakfast services I have a feeling you will find one almost running out of business so the challenge on you will be to make a name for yourself.Have you studied the demographic details of Peru and if so. how do you intend to change the face of things?
Have you tried sighting and/or internet searches? Look for those that will give you some leverage when trying to arrive at a cost. If you put yourself in a position that does not allow for negotiation, you will incur more in costs.Have a look at this..

David, it is highly likely that you will not get what you want in here. It is not meant to discourage you but trust me, there are better leads on the many real estate classifieds online.Do not be fixated upon only purchasing a bed and breakfast hotel. That would limit you on the choices that would come your way. You can renovate or change a property from scratch.

All the best as you source for prospective sellers. Have you cared to look at the internet sources? Though often overpriced, they could be the key to unlocking where your best bet lies. There are many real estate agents out there who will be more than willing to offer their services(at a cost nonetheless).
As a plan B, you could consider starting your own, rather than buying an already established business.

A bed and breakfast is surely a pricey choice in an investment as immediate returns are surely not going to be seen right away.

Though it may be slow to start, with the right business plan, after about three or four years, one can easily begin to see some significant returns coming out of their investment, however.

I wonder how much it would usually cost a person to get a bed and breakfast up and running over in a Caribbean island, such as the likes of Trinidad and Tobago.

"Spare Bedroom?"
If you have a spare bedroom... you could start a simple one for almost nothing!
Comment #24 Eve (63.176.159.126) - 12/16/09 21:06
Are you serious? This seems a bit tacky though, would people really be very much interested in such? What about is I have no access to such, maybe I would; have to get some kind of a banking loan in order to start the business, I would imagine.
