| What kind of music do they listen to in PeruPeru is a cosmopolitan country. the popular culture is, therefore, very wide and varied. American music, Rock and Rap, etc. is very popular, especially among teens.The middle class will listen especially to Latin popular music, the salsa and merengue, etc. so popular in South America. Peru itself has a massive presence in the music industry. The classifications are varied. We talk about "criolla" (creole) music, and afroperuvian music. Classical has a place. Folklore and regional, the local Aymará ethnic group has a very definite musical tradition and quite a large following. So you will find any and everything in Peru. And when it comes to dancing, the night clubs and discos in Lima are full of fun and frolic. |
