Have you tried just walking around and asking people? Or you can try you local newspapers.. that might help you out.

Hello Dolores,

I am an American who is now living in San Miguel. I have not found any english speaking groups or clubs per say, but another American I met here tells me his best resource for finding english speaking persons is in Christian churches (as opposed to the many Catholic churches located here). Other than that, simply walking the streets of Miraflores is a good way to find pleanty of foreigners who speak english.

Well Dolores, if Dana wants to make a fool out of herself by asking around the busy streets of Peru just to met people speaking in English, then it's okay hahaha

James idea sound good but it might be too good 'cause you'll be interacting with religious people. Well its either they influence you with religion or you influence them with you stuffs going on. They might even invite you at their worshiping sessions which is not a very bad thing.

Hi Dolores,

We just had our first meeting for a women's group. We are organizing a book club if you are interested.

I am also looking at getting involved in many activities and will be offering yoga and pilates classes and one on one fitness training sessions. The classes will also be a great way to meet others.

There are, easily, very many social groups that are of all types, shapes as well as sizes, and in so very many different countries in the earth, as well. When it is that we come across such a thing, we should really distribute our new found information to those may find an interest in it.
