Strike on 6/8 and 6/9, 2005

Iquitos, Peru

Our flight was cancelled into Iquitos because of the strike. Our travel insurance company will not refund our money unless we can somehow prove there was a strike on June 8, 2005, when our flight from Lima was cancelled due to the closure of the airport. Can someone please help.
