Does anybody know about a film , possibly screened by National Geographic, about members of an Atlanta family who stay with a Peruvian family and their guinea pigs..I saw it about two years ago..cant find it on the NG website...
It's hilarious...unintentionally...and I would love to get a copy.

Kevin - I remember renting this movie in Park City, Utah at the blockbuster. They carry alot of the Sundance film festival titles there since the festival takes place in Park City. I am not sure if the movie was an entry (most likely was) but you can try searching foregin entries or titles in the Sundance film festival. You could even call the blockbuster there if you really want to find it since I believe I watched it last winter or the previous winter. Anyway, good luck. Peru by the way has amazing people and places and if you get a chance visit the Cordillera Blanca (Huaraz) and Arequipa in addition to Cuzco and a short stay in Lima.

That film seems like it would be interesting.. If you do happen to find it can you tell me the title of it?

There was one called "Mancora" but it wasn't about a family, it was more of a coming of age story - love, drugs, growing up, falling in love etc..Did anyone find the name of the 1st one? There's always some really great films released at sundance, I wish we heard more about them!

It would be easy if we had the titles of the films in question. National Geographic shoots really cool documentaries and you find yourself glued to the screen the entire time.I have also been a victim of watching a film, letting it go and never being able to trace it. Would this link offer some leads?

I do hope Kevin got hold of what he was looking for, albeit with a bit of hassle..
