| Answers: what is the most popular sport in peru? i've always though it was futbol...but recently i heard from a peruvian that it was volleyball...i still don't believe him, so tell me peruvians what is the most popular sport in your country? |
| Most definitely Futbol ! or Football ... Peruvian Women's Football is very popular. There are also several newspapers that are dedicated to Peruvian football. The best are futbolperuano.com and Libero. Peruvians also play in the major football markets. Claudio Pizzaro plays for FC Bayern Munich, in Germany and Nortberto Solano plays for Newcastle United in England. |
| Thanks for sharing those information in here guys. I must say that I have been thinking of finding out more about the sports in the country of Peru. I have to pass a research paper concerning this matter and so it would be a lot of help to hear from all of you guys. Any useful links would be great as well. Thanks a lot and good day to all. |
