More commonly known as the roof of the Americas, with a height of 6962m above sea level. Situated in the Republic of Argentina, Province of Mendoza, Department of Heras, the mountain does not lie on the international border since its waters flow through argentine territory.
Topominia: Akon Kaqua, of Quechua origin, meaning “Stone Sentry”. Thus named by the Incas on their arrival from the Holky City of the Sun (Cusco), the Incas traveled south taking with them culture and language.

Day 1.-Arrival in Santiago de Chile Transfer -Airport Hotel
Day 2.-Drive to Mendoza city.-Hotel (7 Hours)
Day 3.-Free day in Mendoza. Shoping and get Aconcagua park permit
Day 4.- private Transport from Mendoza to Penitentes(2680) where the group will spend the night( 4 hours)
Day 5.-From Penitentes, we take route 7, and, 7km away from the hotel, we arrive at the Horcones Valley at 2850, where the trek begins, and after a short day, around 4 hours, we arrive at our camp, Confluencia Camp ( 3300)
Day 6.-Confluencia - Aconcagua South Face over view 4200 - Confluencia. Our main objective is acclimatization. On this day, after a 8-hours walk.
Day 7.-Confluencia - Plaza de Mulas. After a 9-hours hike we arrive at our base camp 4200).
Day 8.- Rest in Plaza de Mulas
Day 9.-Ascent to Cerro Bonnete (5000) 6 hours
Day 10.- Rest Plaza de Mulas
Day 11.- Up to nido de Condores (5560) -.Plaza de Mulas 7 Hours
Day 12.- Rest
Day 13.- Plaza de Mulas-Nido de Condores where we will set up our first camp. 5 Hours

The second most frequented route is the Polish Glacier Traverse route, also known as the "Falso de los Polacos" route. This approaches the mountain through the Vacas valley, ascends to the base of the Polish Glacier then traverses across to the normal route for the final ascent to the summit. The third most popular route is the Polish Glacier itself
